I’m an artist who was born and bred in Brooklyn, NY, and now living in the Bronx. In 1995, I graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn and then took art classes at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn. I was a participating artist for ten years at the Healing Arts Initiative Studio Program. I am also artist in the Aficionado Arts Workshops at THE POINT in Hunts Point in the South Bronx. My artwork has been shown in numerous exhibits through out my career, most recently at The White Columns Gallery. I had my first solo show at the Heliopolis Gallery in Brooklyn in 2012. My work has been mentioned in The New Yorker Magazine and the New York Daily News. I was one of the subject artists in the recently published Bronx Artists Documentary Project, a major survey of Bronx artists. I use various techniques including watercolor, acrylic, marker, ink, pen, pencil and collage. I also make photographs and experimental films. My vision is based on my experiences of current events art films, TV, music, books and the dreams that I encounter.
