Matthew has lived in the Bronx for the past 17 years. In that time he has become part of the Bronx arts community, as well as being an arts educator in numerous schools and institutions in the Bronx. Matthew was a participant in AIM28 at the Bronx Museum and in Wave Hill’s Winter Workspace residency. He has exhibited his art work nationally and internationally. Most recently he has created ties to Agape Home in Thailand, (an orphanage for children with HIV) he has developed an arts program there for the children and has hired a local artist to continue teaching art once a week.
