Nancy Quigley’s pottery is one of a kind, high-fire stoneware. She has been an active member of Riverdale Art Association in New York City and of Nelson Artists’ Gallery, in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, as well as Mamaroneck (NY) Artists’ Guild. She has participated in many juried show in the New York area, and her prize-winning work can be found in numerous private collections.

Studies with Linda Navarro Ferri include both wheel and hand-building techniques. Nancy is currently exploring the creation of sculptural forms, abstract ceramic wall hangings and masks. Shaping and designing in clay allows for both sculptural and painterly approaches. Texture, incising, glaze combinations, enclosing space, all offer paths of expression in this organic, deeply satisfying medium.
