Hazel Lee Santino is a painter (as well as illustrator, sculptor, educator, arts administrator, and sometimes curator) born in New York City and raised in the redwoods. She received her B.F.A. and B.A. from The New School (2012) in Illustration and Literary Studies. She is currently based in New York, with a studio in Mott Haven. Santino has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Art 3 Gallery and Art During the Occupation Gallery (Brooklyn, NY); Blanc Compound (Mandalyuong, Philippines); Bullet Space, Mayson Gallery, and Nancy Margolis Gallery (New York, NY).
