Bronx 200

Feb 19 to April 23 | Ed Alvarez, Dennis R. Darkeem – The Peoples Protest: Depictions of Non-Traditional Revolution Group Exhibition in the Bronx

The Peoples Protest: Depictions of Non-Traditional Revolution explores the scope of grassroots movement making. Civic and social unrest manifest in myriad forms – not solely via protests and sit-ins- and this exhibition serves as a platform to display that variety.

February 19 – April 23, 2015

The exhibit features 16 works by nine artists from the five boroughs. Artists in the exhibition include Oluseyi Adebanjo, Ed Alvarez, Dennis R. Darkeem, Corrine Innis, Alex Jackson, Natasha R. Johnson, Erica Morales, Joseph Moscato, and JoAnn Onofre.

Metropolitan College of New York – Extension Center, 529 Courtlandt Ave, Bronx, NY

The Peoples Protest: Depictions of Non-Traditional Revolution is curated by Natasha Johnson.
