Teaching Artists to Lead Workshops for Hospital Staff
The Healing Arts Program at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking teaching artists to lead arts workshops for Montefiore employees as part of our Relaxation and Renewal Program.
Our program offers 1-session workshops to encourage creative exploration and multi-session workshops to create individual or group projects and pieces. Each session is 45 minutes to 1 hour long, held Monday through Friday at lunchtime or after work. Areas of interest include – but are not limited to – fine arts, crafts, fiber arts, jewelry, photography, writing/poetry/storytelling, music/songwriting, theater/drama, and dance/movement. Workshops can be designed purely for arts exploration or can be designed around a theme that helps participants explore meaningful issues through self-expression and the arts.
This is a paid position.
