New York Times Columnist and Lens Blog co-editor David Gonzalez will lead an engaging discussion and slide show on the importance of documenting the South Bronx. The award-winning journalist, a Bronx native and founding member of the Seis del Sur collective, will focus on how today’s digital technologies can empower people to create their own visual narratives of everyday life and community issues.
During the event, photographer Joe Conzo will be signing copies of the catalogue Three Photographers from the Bronx, produced in conjunction with the exhibition closing on June 14.
