Amy Pryor works in a variety of media including painting, collage and sculpture. Her work navigates the lines of landscape and abstraction, and often incorporates data or mapping. She’s exhibited work at the Bronx Museum of Art, BRAC, Casita Maria Center for Art and Education, the New Haven Museum, 92Y TriBeCa, No Longer Empty, Wave Hill and The Yard, City Hall Park, NYC.
Pryor studied Painting and Printmaking at Yale (M.F.A) and earned a B.F.A. in Sculpture and Art History from Ohio University. Pryor is an alumna of the BXMA’s AIM program, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and a two-time recipient of the Bronx Council of the Arts’ BRIO Grant. Public collections include MTA Arts and Design, NYC, Yale School of Management, New Haven, CT, and Frans Masereel Centrum, Belgium. Pryor lives and works in The Bronx.
