Here are a few salient features. The Joan Mitchell Foundation and The Bronx Council of the Arts in 2013 began to archive my work for their CALL Project (Creating A Living Legacy.) The process continues today. During summers from 2009-2013 I have been an Artist-in-Residence at the Art Students League Vytlacil Center in Sparkill, New York in one or two month periods. MOMAʼs 1978 exhibition of the conceptual work of Sol LeWitt included material by my students as recorded in School Arts magazine, April 1979.The New York Historical Society, The Schomburg Collection, The Bronx County Historical Society, etc. carry copies of Clinton Comics, graphic books by high school students encouraged and developed by their teachers and led by me.

While serving under a City College Fellowship I was lecture assistant to Walter Pach of 1913 Armory Show fame. Scholarship student of Hans Hoffman, 19954-55. Attended Meyer Schapiroʼs lectures at The New School. Born in The Bronx, a graduate of Music & Art H.S.. B.A. from Queens College, M.A. from State University of Iowa, Iowa City. Post-graduate work at N.Y.U. and the Institute of Fine Arts at N.Y.U. Presently resides in The Bronx, studio in nearby Yonkers. My books include Hofmannʼs Lessons and Clintonʼs Student Cartoonists.
