Artist Bio

Yelaine Rodriguez is a Fashion Artist who has completed her BFA in Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design. As a sophomore in high school she acquired a scholarship with the Parsons Pre-College program, which helped her become a well rounded artist. Throughout her years at Parsons she worked as a mentor and as an instructor while interning at numerous places such as Ralph Lauren Rugby and Oscar de la Renta.

In 2010 Yelaine received the Anna Toonk Scholarship and studied photography in the Parsons Paris Summer Intensive. After her return from Parsons Paris, Yelaine studied abroad at Central St. Martins in London. Later she taught at Altos de Chavon in the Dominican Republic and currently she is a professor in the Parsons Pre-College Program and Parsons Space Scholar program.

Yelaine Rodriguez is a Dominican American Bronx Native who uses her life experiences in her work.
