Cynthia Rivera is an artist and photographer of Puerto Rican descent from Manhattan’s Lower East Side and currently lives in the South Bronx. Rivera graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in photography and a minor in art history. She currently works at the Bronx Documentary Center assisting in the production of exhibitions. Her personal work consists of Fine Art and Documentary Photography, along with video and handmade photo books. Rivera is also part of the PIKADON project, an ongoing artist workshop based on raising peace awareness against nuclear war.
